Overview

As our B2B Campaign Coordinator, you will be responsible for calling targeted lists of existing, inactive and prospective businesses and organizations to increase purchase rate and revenue while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Detailed Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  1. Contacts businesses and organizations through a multi-touch approach including phone and email
  2. Uncovers the current buyer(s) in the organization including online research as necessary for high value leads 
  3. Conducts customer/buyer/contact hygiene as necessary
  4. Utilizes sales discovery to understand customer needs and purchasing requirements
  5. Effectively conveys Oriental Trading Business value proposition and differentiation points
  6. Increases customer awareness of the full company product line
  7. Identifies high value leads and opportunities and forwards to the correct Account representatives
  8. Meets or exceeds established sales and purchase rate goals set by Oriental Trading Company
  9. Creates, assists and/or follows up on high value quotes for customers
  10. Assists customers in problem resolution or forwards to the correct teams to address
  11. Actively markets company products and services by providing materials that can be shared inside customer organizations
  12. Develops and maintains a basic knowledge of competition, products, markets, pricing, strategies, handling of customer needs and problem resolution
  13. Achieves a high level of phone and email activity (talks to customers roughly 3 hours per day making 75+ calls and working 75+ emails)
  14. Effectively tracks contacts, opportunities, and other tasks and information as required
  15. Maintains regular and predictable attendance
  16. Abides by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company

 

Marginal Functions

  1. Attends company functions, meetings, seminars, etc. which may not impact their own customer base directly but will have a positive impact on the company as whole
  2. Documents sales efforts for current customers, prospects and sales campaigns through standardized forms, reports, and systems
  3. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Business, Marketing, Education or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer interfacing role.  2 years of sales or equivalent role preferred

 

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
  • Strong telephone sales skills/experience
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Possess high level of professionalism, ethics and confidence with an engaging personality and commitment to driving results
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to handle customers in a professional and courteous manner
