As our QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of the design and implementation of Information Technology oriented business solutions.  The person in this position is responsible for carrying out testing activities related to projects ensuring all deliverables are released to specification and of the highest quality.  This position will develop and execute test scripts/suites and test data necessary to validate team deliverables.  This role does require some in-person work weekly in Omaha, Nebraska.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

1. Design and execution of test plans/scripts to ensure the highest level of quality is delivered
2. Design system integration, regression, and UAT testing solutions utilizing business/functional requirements to follow Adaptive/Responsive development standards
3. Ensure software development standards, policies and documented requirements are met by generating traceability matrices and reports 
4. Provide execution and defect metrics to project leadership
5. Utilize provided tool sets to efficiently/effectively test new software development
6. Utilize provided tool sets to develop and run automated test suites used to perform regression testing
7. Conduct defect management and work with technical and business teams to resolve functional and non-functional issues and ensure the quality of deliverables
8. Understand how and why clients use the application
9. Become a subject matter expert on product features/functionality 
10. Abide by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company
11. Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice
12. Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Software/BA/QA Engineer or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience translating business/functional requirements into test requirements
• 2+ years of experience using SQL
• 2+ years of experience using automated testing tools such as TestComplete, Selenium, QuickTest Pro, preferred
• Experience with Web, Mobile and API testing technologies and tools, preferred
• Experience with iSeries applications, preferred
