As our OTC National Account Management Representative, you will be responsible for working directly with existing and prospective National Account Business, Commercial, School, Government and Non-Profit customers nationwide to increase the revenue and profitability of Oriental Trading Company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Meets or exceed established sales goals set by the National Account team.
2. Manages key customers that may consist of multiple buying entities primarily over the phone (98%) with occasional travel and trade shows (2%).
3. Achieves a high level of phone and email activity (talks to customers roughly 3 hours per day making 75+ calls and working 75+ emails).
4. Prospects for new opportunities ($5,000+) by calling and following up with sales leads generated through marketing channels and/or industry partnerships (10-15%).
5. Assists customers in the resolution of problems and provides documentation for support team to ensure on-going adherence to processes that drive customer satisfaction.
6. Provides reporting on weekly/monthly basis to include but not limited to: Revenue Pipeline/Forecast, Prospect Opportunities, Account Reviews, and Activity Reports.
7. Coordinates bids, quotes and business registrations as required by customers.
8. Actively markets company products and services by providing materials that can be shared inside customer organizations.
9. Oversees client specific sales strategies that may require interaction with other areas of the company (product development and/or outside vendors).
10. Acts as the primary point person for industry marketplaces and technology connections that support customer purchase transactions.
11. Assists in the marketing strategy for tradeshows; be involved in constructing and set up/break down of the booth at trade shows as needed.
12. Develops and maintains knowledge of competition, pricing, strategies, handling of customer needs and problem resolution.
13. Attends Trade Shows as needed. Conducts follow-up after trade shows for all customer and new prospect needs.
14. Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors as well as online meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams.
15. Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
16. Abides by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company
1. Attends company functions, meetings, seminars, etc. which may not impact their own customer base directly but will have a positive impact on the company.
2. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned
