As our Fun Express National Account Representative, you will be responsible for working directly with existing and prospective Fun Express customers nationwide to increase the revenue and profitability of Fun Express. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

1. Meets or exceed established sales goals set by the Fun Express Division
2. Manages key customers (typically accounts or customer groups over $100,000 in annual revenue) that may consist of hundreds of buying entities primarily over the phone (95%) with occasional travel and trade shows (5%)
3. Prospects for new opportunities ($10,000+) by calling and following up with sales leads generated through marketing channels and/or industry partnerships
4.  Oversees client specific sales strategies that may require interaction with other areas of the company (product development and/or outside vendors)
5. Acts as the primary point person for industry marketplaces and technology connections that support customer purchase transactions
6. Develops marketing and product strategy for tradeshows; be involved in constructing and set up/break down of the booth for Fun Express at trade shows as needed
7. Attends Trade Shows as needed
8. Conducts follow-up after trade shows for all customer and new prospect needs, including, but not limited to, sample mailings, follow-up letters and phone calls to close sales from programs, products and relationships that were presented and/or generated at each trade show
9. Develops and maintains knowledge of competition, pricing, strategies, handling of customer needs and problem resolution
10. Develop and maintain knowledge of competition’s primary products and markets to analyze impacts on Fun Express’ business in competitive markets
11. Provides key reporting on monthly basis to include but not limited to; Revenue Forecasts, Account Reviews, and Activity Reports
12. Maintains regular and predictable attendance
13. Abides by all policies and procedures of Fun Express and Oriental Trading Company
14. Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short notice
15. Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors as well as online meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams

Marginal Functions

1. Attends company functions, meetings, seminars, etc. which may not impact their own customer base directly but will have a positive impact on the company as whole
2. Documents sales efforts for current customers, prospects and sales campaigns through standardized forms, reports and systems
3. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Education or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

• Minimum three years Sales, Account Management or presentation experience required

Other Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
• Strong telephone prospecting and appointment setting skills/experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work effectively in the office, from home or while traveling

• Ability to utilize strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to travel as needed

• Ability to handle customers in a professional and courteous manner

• Ability to work extra hours when needed

• Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner
